Tips for Pull Requests
You wanna call them pull or merge requests, to me it is the same 🎃. Anyway, a few tips on how you can better them 😇.
I am using VSCode as my Editor. Before I commit, I make sure to have a second look at the changes I have done, to see if I forgot something or if there is anything I want to change. This can be seen in Source Control, where you can also stage your changes and commit them. Let me show you an example:
Here I am clicking on the
app.ts file in Source Control, which is found under changes. I can see what I want to change and also if I forgot anything.
Here I also enjoy staging the changes and committing them:
This is how I enjoy adding my changes to the staging area and committing them. After that, I just push this commit in the terminal.
Before Submitting 😱
Before you submit the Pull Request, you can often view the changes you have done. View it 🔥! Taking a third look, you might notice something you want to change or forgot 😃.
Hope this helped you, feel free to give me any feedback 🙌 💝.
